NYT Strands: How Is The Game Played?
In order to successfully complete the puzzle in NYT Strands, the players will have to follow the following steps.
- Find Theme Words: The theme words are highlighted with blue color on the board and will fill the entire board completely with no overlapping.
- Find Spangrams: The words that describe the overall theme of the puzzle are called the Spangrams. They touch opposite sides and are highlighted in yellow color if found.
- Hints: In case you need hints, you have to find the non-theme words on the board. You will be awarded one hint for every 3 non-theme words you find. If you already have one hint present on the board, a new hint will reveal the order of the words.
