UFT On Additional COVID Testing for NYC Schools

[COVID-19 School Hotspots]

On Oct. 6, 2020, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced increasing testing for COVID-19 in schools in hotspot areas.

In response, UFT President Michael Mulgrew issued the following statement:

“Testing is one of the keys to halting the spread of the virus, and the Governor’s plan for additional testing for schools will help us keep our students, educators and school communities safe.”
