The Legend of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Review, Release date: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom is an action-adventure 2024 video game. It is developed by Nintendo(a Japanese video game company) and Grezzo(a Japanese video game developer).
This game is the first among the Legend of Zelda category games, with Princess Zelda as the main character, not Link. Players control Princess Zelda on a mission to save Link, the kingdom Hyrule, and the king with the help of the magical weapon Tri Rod. Fairy Tri gave Princess Helda the magical Tri rod.
The visual design of this game is similar to the 2019 remake of The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening video game. It was also developed by Grezzo.

Synopsis of Echoes Of Wisdom
Link disappeared into the Still world while saving Princess Helda from Ganon (the antagonist of the game series). He fell into a mysterious rift. After this, several similar rifts started appearing all over Hyrust, causing other people to disappear from the Still world, too. Princess Zelda sets out to save Link, Hyrust, and the King of Hyrust with help from the magical Fairy Tri and the Tri rod she gave her.
Several Hyrule characters appear throughout the game, such as Deku Scrubs, Gerudo, Gorons, various rivers, and Oceans Zora and Yeti. Dampe, an old grave keeper, also appears and helps Zelda by creating automatons that act as echoes.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom marks the first game where Princess Helda becomes the main character in a video game series bearing her titular name. She sets out alone, this time to save everyone.
Princess Zelda has always been a magical creature who used her magical abilities in the early days of the game series when she would enlist green-clad swordsman Link to save Hyrule. Princess Zelda and Link have been friends for decades, but the players only take Link’s character seriously. This video game sets out to change that fact by making Princess Helda the main character of Echoes Of Wisdom.
Helda can travel through the rifts created and close them after defeating the dungeon inside them. Princess Helda can save Hyrule with the magical Tri Rod given to her by Fairy Tri. Helda has always been a strong character in the series, but the major difference between Helda and Link is that Helda cannot fight the demons alone.
She can create echoes replicating real objects from the air with the Tri Rod magical shaft. The objects then can be used to defeat the enemies. The objects can be anything from a meat piece to lure the opponents to crates, tables, and chairs to create staircases, towers, etc.
Helda can even create clones of defeated enemies with her magical Tri-Rod. The players can manifest a pot or a bat to throw at their enemies. While many players can appreciate this feature, some can dislike it, stating they wish to fight with the enemies like Link used to.
Conjuring magic and summoning creatures and different objects and then waiting for them to finish can be fun for some players. For some, it might not. Grezzo, the video development company, seems to understand this problem, enabling a feature where Helda can be temporarily transformed into Link.
Summoning creatures and objects and cloning enemies through echoes will not only solve some puzzles. For that, Helda has telepathic abilities to move things around, a feature players should keep in mind.
As Helda is unarmed, she is prone to more damage than Link ever was. Due to this, players may have to conjure a bed every 10-15 minutes for her to recover and collect more hearts.
The clever features of the game are endless, such as climbing up a spider web to cover an area, but this might seem complicated at times to players as to which echoes to select according to their needs.

Puzzles are repetitive in the video game. If a player has made a bed out of stones or a bridge out of some objects, they may have to make them again.
Bosses are another element present in the game. It is fun to defeat smaller enemies by using echoes, but the lengthy process of defeating bigger dungeons without any weapon can seem boring to some players.
But returning to the positive area, Echoes Of Wisdom provides a beautiful art design and aesthetic visuals for the game. The music area is also decent. The dungeons, puzzles, and enemies provided in the game are a decent challenge for players.
A convenient feature allows players to zoom the map at any point in the game. The dungeons have the old-school charm, reminding the players of the nostalgic old games.
Another feature that can be distracting to many is the lack of proper voice in the game. This results in much time reading or skipping the dialogues, entirely distracting the player from playing the game.
To summarise the review, Echoes Of Wisdom is a beautiful game with aesthetic visuals that remind players of the old times. Its enemies posing a strong challenge to the players. Zelda is a surprisingly well-built protagonist, echoes are an excellent gameplay feature but the game does not give much freedom like its predecessor Tears Of The Kingdom did last year. Helda as the main character is good but she does not give much flexibility to players while fighting as Link gave.
The game feels like trying hard to combine different eras of the Legend Of Zelda series into one. But in experimenting with the same, while giving the titular character- Princess Zelda a chance to be the main protagonist, Echoes Of Wisdom feels like a success. The players just wish they feel more empowered the next time they play as Princess Zelda.
