The late Rev. James E. Davis, New York City Councilman for Brooklyn, NY, made his transition on July 23, 2003. He was a very active community relations police officer concerned about everyone in his community and abroad.

In 1990 he founded “Love Yourself Stop the Violence” to bring all people together for the sake of their community to fight against violence, drugs and poverty. He gave his all for peace.
