NEW YORK – Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s campaign raised $1.3 million from over 10,000 donors with 75% of contributions under $30 in the first quarter of the election year – all without holding fundraisers hosted by Wall Street fraudsters or Trump megadonors

The Q1 total is Bowman’s strongest fundraising quarter since defeating 30-year incumbent Elliott Engel in 2020, who was backed by racist ads aired by GOP-donor-funded DMFI. In the past week, Bowman’s campaign has earned major endorsements, including the support of House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Whip Katherine Clark, Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar, AFSCME District Council 37, College Democrats of America, and Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

“Congressman Bowman overcame massive odds – and even more massive outside spending – in 2020 to build a victorious coalition, and we have incredible resources to do exactly that again,” said Bowman campaign manager Gabe Tobias. “This is true grassroots, small-dollar fundraising, and unlike our opponent we have never held fundraisers hosted by Wall Street fraudsters or Trump megadonors. This is how we are building a campaign to win.”
