Panafricanists and friends of Africa will also reflect on the legacy of Thomas Sankara, former president of Burkina Faso.

Saturday, October 20th, 2012, the Revival of Panafricanism Forum organizes a conference “Panafrican Solutions to African Contemporary Global Problems” from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Festival Center, 1640 Columbia Road NW, Washington, DC 20009.

Panafricanists and friends of Africa will also reflect on the legacy of Thomas Sankara, former president of Burkina Faso.  The speakers who will discuss the topic are: Aziz Salmone Fall, Ph.D., a Canadian-based Political Scientist, and Coordinator of the International Campaign Justice for Sankara, Mbye Cham, Ph.D., Chair of the African Studies Department at Howard University, and Mjiba Frehiwot, Ph.D., Organizer with A-APRP.
