THE NO STUDIOS SOCIAL JUSTICE SUMMIT FOUR-DAY VIRTUAL EVENT (on October 15-18, 2020) will focus on four timely topics:
- Amplification and Misinformation: The Role of Social Media in Protest and Retaliation
- Policing and Community: Building Bridges to Reform
- Voter Suppression: New Age Tactics and Responses
- BLM Abroad: International Perspectives on the Movement
Each day of the series will include panels, film screenings and performances from Nō Studios.
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 program will be produced on a virtual platform. SJS 2020 will continue to honor the lived experience of marginalized communities, while connecting to the current movement’s youth energy, multicultural participation and contemporary technology. https://www.nostudios.com/sjs-2020
