Jay Feely, The Former NFL Kicker, Announces run for Congress in Arizona

As you must have heard by now, about the announcement made by Jay Feely on his entry into the politics as he will run for Congress in the upcoming year. It is heard that for his candidacy for Congress, Feely is giving up on his Sports analysis and broadcasting career.

From Football to Politics?

Jay Feely, with a career of 14 years in Football, which even included stints with the New York Giants and Jets, the Chicago Bears, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Atlanta Falcons, suddenly decided to give up all this for his candidacy to run for Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives?

Feely would be replacing Andy Biggs, who has currently occupied the seat. Feely, however, will run for the elections in 2026.

Feely’s Agenda

As per his words, Feely ensured that he would look into the matters of economic issues. His commitment to performing his duties responsibly and faithfully turned out to be an asset. Feely even expressed his excitement for the upcoming events in his life.

Feely’s Experience in Politics?

Jay, with no real experience in politics, however, participated in public discussions and certain community involvements. He has certainly been a part of numerous charitable parties and activities. Considering the Feely Family Foundation and his support of the Phoenix Ronald McDonald House, Jay has helped others with his heart. Due to this, Feely sets a good example all over the world. His participation in the Republic Leadership conferences also shows his dedication to the public. 

Feely’s Ideology

Jay Feely idealizes the U.S. President, Donald Trump. Jay believes that Donald Trump is better and much more responsible as a President than Biden was. Donald Trump however worked hard to reach this level of respect and honour. He has taken good care of the nation’s economy, the safety of the public and other affairs. Feely expressed that running a candidacy for Congress would be  equal to a civil service for him.

Feely is well-known for his accuracy skills. The nation believes that he will perform his duties and responsibilities properly and won’t disappoint them.

Outlooks on the 2026 Elections

Andy Biggs, the current U.S. Representative is held responsible for Arizona’s 5th Congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. However, Biggs has already announced his candidacy for governor in the Grand Canyon State in January. So, Jay Feely can now look after his actions and duties to serve the nation.

(Only the 2nd K ever to do that after the legendary Pat Summerall) I enjoyed every minute and I will miss the people I worked with the most.”
