Dancing with the Stars Week 3

Dancing With The Stars returned for its third week on October 7 and 8th. On October 7, Monday Night was the Soul Train Night, during which contestants had to dance to the songs of the Soul Train Show. As for the elimination, no one was eliminated on Monday. However, a double elimination round was to happen on the next night, Tuesday.

The Tuesday night episode was the Hair Metal Night special. Contestants had to perform one unlearned dance on a rock anthem. Gene Simmons, bassist and singer of Kiss band, appeared as a guest judge on Tuesday’s Night episode, joining our other judges- Carrie Ann, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tronioli.

Dancing With The Stars- Week 3- Soul Train Night

On October 7, Monday Night,  the contestants performed the songs from the famous television show- Soul Train. Each contestant performed an unlearned dance to a song from the music variety show Soul Train(1971-2006). No elimination happened that night. Rosie Perez appeared as a guest judge on monday Night. She is the former actress and dancer from Soul Train. The monday opening performance was choreographed by Luam on The Sound Of Philadelphia by MFSB and the Three Degrees. It featured guest dancer Popin Pete from the Electric Boogaloos.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong stood at the top position on Monday Night with a score of 36. They topped the leaderboard for the third time since the show began. The three contestants with the lowest scores- Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater (21 points), Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach (23 points), and Eric Roberts and Britt Steward(24) were at the most risk of going home into the double-elimination round on Tuesday, October 8.

Dancing With The Stars– Week 3- Hair Metal Night

On Tuesday’s episode of the Dancing With The Stars, it was the Hair Metal Night. Each contest danced on one unlearned dance on a rock anthem. A double-elimination happened that night. Gene Simmons, the bassist of the band Kiss, appeared as a guest judge on the Tuesday episode. The opening performance of the tuesday night was on “Rock and Roll All Nite”,  one of the Kiss band songs. The dance was choreographed by Pasha Pashkov and featured Joel Hoekstra from Whitesnake, an English rock hard band.

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson stood first on Tuesday night, scoring 36 points. The two lowest points scorers were Eric Roberts and Brit Steward(22) and Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater(21), making them prone to the elimination round. Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson stood first on Tuesday, surpassing Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong for the first time since Dancing On The Stars began. However, Chandler and Brandon, Brooks Nader, and Gleb Savchenk stood in the second position with 33 score points.

Who got eliminated on Night 2 of Dancing On The Stars?

Eric Roberts and Britt Steward, along with Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater, were eliminated on week 3 of Dancing On The Stars. The contestants had the lowest combined judges scores of the two nights, 46( Eric and Britt) and 42(Reginald and Emma). Along with the lowest judges’ scores, they had fewer audience votes, eliminating them from the show.

Saying the show goodbye, Reginald VelJohnson expressed that this show- Dancing On The Stars, has been a very special platform for her, and speaking about her friend Julianne, she said she is very special to her.

Eric Roberts said this was the first time he had had better working experience in his whole professional career. His professional dance partner, Britt Stewards, said she is proud of their journey in this show.
Dancing On The Stars streams on Tuesdays at 8 PM ET on ABC and Disney+. Episodes are also available on HULU and ABC.com the next day after the broadcast.
