On Thursday, February 20, 2020, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. will host two events as part of the annual “State of the Borough,” which this year will be themed as a celebration of a “Bronx Decade.”

In the morning, Borough President Diaz will host his first-ever State of the Borough Community Groups Celebration, thanking community leaders and organizations from all walks of life for their support and assistance over the past ten years. This event will begin at 11:00 a.m.

In the evening, State of the Borough festivities will continue with a community reception commemorating the transformative changes that Borough President Diaz helped usher into The Bronx during the past ten years. The event will also feature a video retrospective of that work, produced by Bronxnet. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Both events will take place in The Bronx County Building, Veterans’ Memorial Hall, 851 Grand Concourse, The Bronx.
