President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are back out on the campaign trail after their debate showdown Thursday night that may have reshaped the race, but likely not in the way the Biden campaign had hoped.

Some Democrats have begun calling for Biden to step aside after he repeatedly struggled on stage, his voice sounding raspy as he appeared to lose his train of thought at times.

Biden aimed for a reset at his first post-debate rally this afternoon in Raleigh, North Carolina, telling the crowd that “I intend to win” that battleground state in November.

“I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know — I know how to tell the truth!” Biden said

Trump, meantime, delivered many falsehoods and misleading statements last night, and would not unequivocally commit to accepting the results of the election.

The former president is holding his own rally this afternoon in Virginia, beside the state’s Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin.
