 The series is based on a book written on the topic by Rebecca Godfrey. Reena Virk was found dead under a bridge, and that’s how the story starts.  The show also includes some fictional characters. A local cop, played by Lily Gladstone, and a writer, played by Riley Keough, set out to investigate this matter. As the duo goes deeper into the case, new facets emerge about Reena’s life and death and also her friends. Reena’s troubled childhood and friendships emerge as the cornerstone of the investigation.

3. The Handmaid’s Tale

The Handmaid’s Tale is one of the most acclaimed Hulu original series. Having won 15 Emmys, it sure puts any doubts to rest. Margaret Atwood’s book has inspired this series.  

It is set in a dystopian land of Gilead. This nation is a totalitarian society where women are stripped of any powers of their own. They are called to serve those in power. In the story, Handmaids are the women used by people in power to give birth to children.
