 Landman Episode 7 Plot

In this episode, Tommy grapples with the fallout from his tiresome work life and issues at home. Here, there are new complications for his children, Angela and Ainsley. Along with this, there is also romance brewing between Cooper and Ariana. While Angela realizes she might have a passion for aiding the elderly at a local nursing home, she may have discovered her purpose outside of her family dynamics after all. At the same time, Ainsley has an encounter with a charming young lad named Ryder, at a party where she is found in a compromising situation by her parents. This makes the episode even more nail-biting than before.

Episode 7 ends on a classic cliffhanger where Cooper and Tommy must find a balance. From the first episode, is the return of Rebecca, who is linked to the explosion and the three men being killed. She questions Cooper about his involvement in this. Her inquiry focuses on the faulty equipment that caused the fire in the first place. This suggests potential repercussions for Tommy and his company. However, this revelation could stress Cooper’s already tense relationship with his father, as he is still coming to terms with his guilt over the accident.

Further along the episode, it is observed that Cooper’s feelings for Ariana increase, which makes it a complicated matter. With Rebecca’s threats, it is clear that she has further motives besides threatening Cooper about the fire. As there are other families connected to the case, she seems to be holding on to a bit more information. This tension results in a potential alliance between Cooper and Ariana, against Tommy and Monty’s company. This is exciting after the Romeo and Juliet parallels being drawn in the episode.

At the same time, Ainsley’s flirting with Ryder brings on newer challenges that could mean trouble for the Noris family. Tommy’s protective side comes out when he discovers Ainsley in a compromising situation, which ends up with an intense confrontation with Ryder. The episode ends on a cliffhanger with a mysterious figure watching from the bushes. This could imply potential cartel involvement in the lives of the Norris family.
