Inspired by Rebecca Godfrey’s book, with the same title, Under the Bridge is a crime drama American television show, which is developed by Quinn Shepherd. Under the Bridge got its premiere on 17th April 2024, on Hulu.
The story is all about the tragedy that happened with Reena Virk, a fourteen-year-old girl, who had no idea that a single party would change her life completely. Reena was born and brought up in a strict Indian Canadian family, in British Columbia. It is a fiction story, which is aired on Hulu. The lead character Reena went out with her friends for a party, but she never came back. The two most famous actors, or we can say the Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone, who is playing the role of a local police officer, and Golden Globe nominee Riley Keough, who is playing the role of Godfrey are seen together in Under the Bridge. Vritika Gupta is a young talented actress who got her first role in a short film Let it Slide in 2018. In 2022 she got her biggest role in a horror movie called Cross Hollow. In Under the Bridge, Vritika plays the role of Reena Virk, who is a fourteen years old girl, living in Victoria, British Columbia. As the story of Under the Bridge unfolds we see her moped by a group of teenagers and two of them kill her. She died in the first episode only but we have seen her continuous appearance in the next episodes of the show.
Lily Gladstone portrays Cam Bentland
Lily Gladstone, who got her most popularity as Mollie Burkhart, in Killers of the Flower Moon was born in Kalispell, Montana. This role gave her an Oscar nomination as best actress. In Under the Bridge, Lily Gladstone plays the role of Cam Bentland, who is the police officer in the Victoria police department. Her systemic issue with the Victorian police department created an issue in the investigation of the Reena murder case.
Riley Keough portrays Rebecca Godfrey
Riley, a girl from California, got her first role as Marie Currie in 2010. Riley Keough got popularity from her role in the Good Doctor, this role has given her two Golden Globe Nominations for Best performance as an actress. In Under the Bridge, Riley Keough plays the role of Rebecca Godfrey. Rebecca Godfrey was also a part of the police team who was investigating Reena’s murder.
