Jamaica, NY (September 11, 2026) — Today, Saturday, September 12 , Resorts World New York City will host its Trinidad and Tobago Independence Day Last Lap Jam from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The festivities will include a full afternoon of soca, Carnival culture and live performances marking Trinidad and Tobago’s Independence Day at the Big Apple’s only casino-hotel.

The Last Lap Jam brings the closing spirit of Carnival to Rockaway Boulevard with DJ sets from Blingers, Young Chow and DJ Man Man Mady, followed by performances from Denise Belfour, Anslim Douglas and Lord Nelson. The celebration continues RWNYC’s role as a cultural gathering place for the Caribbean diaspora communities of Jamaica and South Ozone Park, and offers press a vivid photo opportunity of the music, color and pageantry that define Trinidad and Tobago Independence Day in Southeast Queens.
WHAT: The Trinidad and Tobago Independence Day Last Lap Jam — a seven-hour soca and Carnival celebration featuring DJ sets and live performances, with photo opportunities throughout the program.
