Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Charger

The Cincinnati Bengals will face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 8:20 p.m. ET in SoFi Stadium. This Week 11 NFL clash looks promising as each team gets its players on the field. Now we should turn our attention to the persons who could influence the results of this very game most.

Bengals Key Players

Joe Burrow (Quarterback)

Joe Burrow has been that heart that has been pushing the Bengals forward. And he demonstrated that this season when he threw for 2,672 yards and 24 touchdowns on the season and is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. In the last three matches, Burrow has been especially good; he has thrown for 913 yards and ten TDs. This will be crucial against the Chargers’ defending lineup, as he is sharp in decision-making and quick-producing when under pressure.

Ja’Marr Chase (Wide Receiver)

Ja’Marr Chase is Burrow’s preferred target on the field as a wide receiver. The Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill boasts 981 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns this year. His speed is the key to the game. This can present a lot of problems for the Chargers’ secondary because he consistently creates separation and threatens to break for huge gains. Chase’s chemistry with Burrow is evident; both should take advantage of the defense when attacking.

Hendrickson Trey (Defensive End)

On defense, Trey Hendrickson takes the day for the Bengals. Standing at 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, with 11 sacks this season, he has been a defensive lineman’s dream and quarterback’s worst enemy. Hendrickson’s charge at pass rush will be essential for making sacks and sustaining turnovers against Justin Herbert.

Chargers Key Players

Justin Herbert (Quarterback)

Justin Herbert has been effective in articulating the Chargers’ offense with excellence. This season he has passed the ball for 1,889 yards, 11 touchdowns, and completed 66% of his passes. Despite losing his last game to Zach Wilson, Herbert has been impressive in the past three games with 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. The key for Stafford will be to elongate the plays, something he has been very good at doing, and make accurate passes which will be needed against a strong Bengals side.

J.K. Dobbins (Running Back)

One of the most productive running backs in the league is J.K. Dobbins for the LA Chargers he has carried for 670 yards and six touchdowns in this year’s season. In the final pre-season game, he had 41 yards and one touchdown, and in total, he has had 192 yards and three touchdowns in the last three games. Dobbins provides a change-of-pace element for the Bengals as both a runner and a target out of the backfield for Jackson, which should serve to make the Cincinnati defense particularly relentless to switch on.
