The recently released movie Conclave follows the arrangement of the famous Catholic ritual Papal Conclave by Thomas Cardinal Lawrence in order to elect the next pope after the current Pope dies of cardiac arrest. The four top candidates include Bellini who is liberal in the vein of the former pope, Adeyemi who is an economically progressive man but has socially conservative views, Tremblay who is a mainstream conservative, and Tedssco, a traditionalist who wishes to abandon some parts of the Second Vatican Council. When the votes for the election of Pope splits into various candidates Lawrence conducts an investigation which reveals major secrets and scandals about each of the candidates.
Conclave 2024: Online Streaming Platform
Ralph Fiennes’s Conclave is not streaming on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, or any other online streaming platforms. It won’t be streaming on Netflix in the near future since the movie is distributed by Focus Features which is actually a subsidiary company of Universal Studios and all the Universal movies release on Peacock, a streaming platform owned by Universal. You may be able to rent the movie through Amazon Prime Video premium subscription but not on the free version. The online release date of Conclave has not been released yet since it’s still in theaters but is speculated to be in the middle of November or December.
