Outer Banks season 3 was released in February 2023 on Netflix. Fans have been waiting for more than 18 months now to see what happens ahead in Outer Banks Season 4. The first five episodes as part 1(an old tradition of Netflix to break an already hit series into two parts- happened with Bridgerton season 3 and Emily in Paris season 4 this year) will be released on 10 October 2024. The remaining five episodes will be released in November 2024.

When is Outer Banks Season 4 being released?

Outer Banks Season 4  will be released on Thursday, October 10, but the time varies according to the different time zones worldwide. The show will be available on Netflix at 3:00 AM ET. The show will be released in the United Kingdom at 8 AM Thursday. In Australia, at 6 PM  Thursday and in India at 12:30 PM on Thursday, October 10. The series will be available at 12 AM PT in many places.

Only the first five episodes are available to watch. The runtime of the episodes is between 40 minutes to 63 minutes. On 7 November, the second part of the fourth season will be released. The final part will revolve around solving the mysteries introduced in Part 1 of Season 4 and will put an end to the treasure hunt adventure.

Outer Banks Season 4 Plot

The Pogues group face new challenges and new rivals in this fourth season. They start to hunt for the Blackbeard’s treasure. The group faces financial problems after starting their own business at the end of season 3. However, they had the help of Wes Genrette, whom they met in Season 3 of the show. The new season will showcase new challenges as rivals also race them to the treasure hunt.

Outer Banks Season 4 Episodes Titles

The names of the episodes have been revealed. Die-hard fans can guess what happens in an episode just by seeing the title’s name. Part 1 includes five episodes with the titles-  “The Enduro,” “Blackbeard,” “The Lupine Corsairs,” “The Swell,” and “Albatross.” The remaining five episodes in part 2 are titled “The Town Council,” Episode 2 is titled “Mothers and Fathers,” Episode 3 is titled “Decision Day,” Episode 4 is named- “The Storm,” and the final tenth episode is “The Blue Crown.”

Outer Banks Season 3 Ending Explained

Outer Banks Season 3 ends when John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) find El Dorado, the lost city of gold, with the help of Big John(Charles Halford), who is John B’s father. In the show, Big John was presumed dead before, but in season 3, the father and son(John B) united to find gold.

Big John was the first to discover the route to El Dorado, the lost city of gold. However, he was kidnapped by Carlos Singh. Carlos Singh has a lifelong goal of finding El Dorado. Carlos Singh was the one who rescued Big John on an island on which he was presumed to be dead to help him with the gold treasure hunt later.

John B. and Sarah rescued Big John from Singh’s kidnapping. However, Carlos Singh shot Big John while he was rescued from Singh’s kidnapping. Big John could still tell the group about the location of El Dorado. The group rescued the gold. As the group was leaving with the gold, Carlos Singh followed and appeared there. Big John put a bomb on Carlos Singh and killed him, simultaneously wiping out El Dorado, the lost city of gold forever.

 After this El Dorado treasure hunt, the Pogues group returned home to the Outer Banks. After 18 months, the group is now running a business, but they are always drawn to the idea of treasure hunting once in a while. In the end, A man approaches the Pogues group to help him find the Blackbeard’s Treasure.

Outer Banks Season 4 will pick up from the story of the Pogues going for the Blackbeard treasure hunt. The show will be streaming On Netflix Starting on October 10.
