Agatha All Along Episode 4: The Greem Witche’s Revelation of Teen’s Identity
The biggest development that happened at the end of the miniseries is Rio’s comment about Teen where she clearly says to Agatha that “ the boy isn’t yours” successfully debunking the theory of Teen being Agatha’s long-lost son Nicholas Scratch. After Teen gets injured from a shard of glass, Agatha’s previously hidden protective instincts come to light as she becomes more and more distressed about the growing possibility of Teen’s death. How exactly Rio knows about this remains a secret.
Nicholas as revealed earlier met a dark future when Agatha sacrificed him for the Darkhold leading the audience to think that he might either be dead, become an agent of Mephisto, or any other kind of demon. The new revelation of Teen not being Nicholas leads the audience to another huge theory that he might be actually Scarlet Witch’s son.
Teen revealed that he suffered bad things when he was 13 which aligns with the timeline of the 2021 series WandaVision. The sigil placed on Teen and stops him from revealing his identity may most probably be done in order to hide his connection with Scarlet Witch.
Teen not being Nicholas also gives rise to another question which is what exactly happened with Nicholas. Teen’s questioning Agatha about what really happened to him may hint that there is more to the story of Agatha and her son.

Who Exactly is Rio Vidal?
Another key development that happened in episode 4 of Agatha All Along was the subtle hints that were dropped regarding Rio Vidal’s actual identity. The first hint on Rio’s identity is dropped when Agatha and Rio are talking in the sound booth and Rio mentions that she was impatient for Agatha to kill the other witches. The second hint came along when Rio actively insisted on being a part of the coven saying that once Agatha kills all the witches around her she will get her bodies. The last and final hint was dropped when Teen was bleeding and Agatha looked at Rio with pleading eyes and said “Don’t”. All these instances of Active domination over dead people point in the direction of Rio actually being Lady Death and Agatha pleads with her not to take Teen away.
How Alice’s Curse was Broken?
During the second trial of the Witches’ Road in the miniseries, the witches had to break a curse that had been haunting Alice’s family for generations. The curse was easy to break as the witches sang the version of the ballad of Witches’ Road recorded by Alice’s mom Lorna Wu.
This song was actually a protection spell that would always protect the woman of the Wu family as it would be sung by someone somewhere all across the globe. The reason why the song manages to break Alice’s curse remains a mystery.
Why Did Rio Appear On The Witches’ Road?
After the death of Sharon Davis, the Green witch that the coven assembles to find is revealed to be Rio Vidal herself. Later, Rio reveals that she did not choose to appear and that the magick took the path of least resistance, carrying the candidate who’s most appropriate to join Agatha’s coven.
In episode 2, Lilia came up with a list of names with the help of her divination given to Agatha’s coven, one of which was a black heart. In episode 1 Rio mentioned that she posesses a black heart that beats for Agatha. Hence, it was indicated that she was actually meant to join Agatha’s coven making her the path of least resistance.
