Perhaps tired of the non-physical Political ring wars Filipino Senator Emmanuel Dapidran-Manny-Pacquiao, also known as “PacMan”, has unretired and will return to the more combative squared circle ring wars where perhaps he feels more comfortable.

Pacquiao’s first comeback fight will be challenging W.B.O. Welterweight Champ Jessie “The New Generation” Vargas for his Crown, which will take place on Saturday, November 5th 2016 at the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to Bob Arum, Top Rank’s C.E.O. Promoter, Pacquiao never really retired since he maintained a grueling schedule of legislating in his Senatorial responsibilities for almost 10 hours a day and then at night he would rush over to the gym to train with Freddy Roach.

Mr. Arum further stated that Pacquiao’s commitment to his Filipino constituents was never sacrificed since he was always proposing programs to help them such as giving homes to the poor and the homeless.

At the final press conference Pacquiao looking very happy and relaxed stated “I am very happy to be back in boxing where I feel I really belong, but I will never abandon my people and as a Senator I will do everything I can to help them and make their lives easier.”

Pacquiao further declared, “I can focus on both careers, I still have my speed, my stamina, I feel young and I still have my punching power. I cannot be beat.”

Champ Jessie Vargas, 27-1, 10 knockouts, 2-Time Mexican National Champ and a member of the 2008 Mexican Olympic Team with an impressive amateur boxing record of 120-20, angrily stated that he was tired of being “Taken for granted as just another opponent for Timothy Bradley and Sadam Ali who I knocked out for the title, and now, I am just another tune up opponent for Manny Pacquiao.”

Vargas further declared, “I am a very good fighter and with my team, Dewey Cooper, trainer, and Rafael Garcia who was Floyd Mayweather’s corner man, I’ll will defeat Pacquiao and retire him, this time for good. I have trained too hard and sacrificed too much to lose on Saturday. I could even knock him out.”

Analysis:

Is Manny Pacquiao, 58-6, 38 knockouts, 8-time world champ in 8 consecutive weight divisions, 38 years old, and perhaps a little shop-worn, fooling himself into thinking that he can still continue to be successful in the hurt business? Maybe!

Jessie Vargas only 27 years old a super defensive speedy boxer who has scored 10 k.o.’s, is determined to upset the 10-1 betting favorite Pacquiao so that he could be rated among the elites of the 147 pound level such as, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, Earl Spence, Jr. etc.

I expect that Pacquiao will fight the same way as he has fought throughout his great boxing career, but the taller Vargas will be too determined to score a victory and he will out box Pacquiao.

Pacquiao’s margin of victory will have to be by way of knockout since his stamina may have been affected during those long hour days during his Senatorial business and then going to the gym preparing for the fight with no interruption for training camp preparation.I don’t think Pacquiao wants the fight to go the distance.

In hind sight Pacquiao could fool all of the doubters and fight the fight of his life as he has always fought in the past and defeat this young upstart, Jessie Vargas and add another world title to his collection.

Black Star News feels that Jessie Vargas will defeat a fading Manny Pacquiao by decision. Sad and Touching!
