Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism is pleased to announce Cycle 3 of the Social Justice News Nexus Fellowship, which brings together Chicago journalists with Medill graduate students for in-depth reporting on critical urban issues.
Cycle 3 of the fellowship beginning in October 2015 focuses on housing, segregation and urban development in Chicago. Public housing, changing neighborhoods, foreclosures, substandard housing, discrimination, funding and housing rights are among the realms to explore, with investigative, immersive or other in-depth stories that break new ground, illuminate policy debates and frame housing as a social justice issue.
Fellows will receive a $5,000 stipend.
