However, she also became isolated from the others. Her actions put her at odds with Natalie. This is played by Sophie Thatcher. Tensions rose as they planned another hunt for food.

The episode returned to an earlier scene. This was from the pilot. The girls hunted Mari. She is played by Alexa Barajas. She turned out to be the Pit Girl. As Mari ran for her life, she fell into a trap set by Travis. His character is played by Kevin Alves. This moment connected the past and present. Also, it created a sense of urgency and chaos.

While Shauna focused on the hunt, Natalie saw an opportunity. She found an old satellite radio left behind by Hannah’s team. Thus, she climbed a high mountain and managed to make contact with the outside world. This gave them a hope of rescue.

Thus, the season ended with Shauna pouring her heart out in her journal. She wrote about how much she loved being the Antler Queen. This is despite the isolation.
