WWE SmackDown April 11 Recap: Full Results & Highlights

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired on April 11, 2025. It took place at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA. Also, this episode was the last show before WrestleMania 41. This will be in Las Vegas. The show included major moments, matches, and story developments. Continue reading to learn more about the ending of this week’s WWE SmackDown.

Opening Segment with Randy Orton

The show opened with WWE General Manager Nick Aldis inviting Randy Orton to the ring. Also, Orton discussed how he felt about the events from last week. He mentioned a double fine he had paid last year and said they were even now. Moreover, he stated that he needed an opponent for his 20th year in wrestling.

Suddenly, Solo Sikoa entered the ring with Tama Tonga. Sikoa criticized Orton. He claimed he was embarrassing himself. Also, Orton challenged both Sikoa and Tonga to a fight. LA Knight’s music played. He came to the ring to support Orton. Aldis then announced that Orton and Knight would face Sikoa and Tonga in a tag team match as the main event of the night.

Women’s Tag Team Gauntlet Match

The night started off with a women’s tag team gauntlet match. Bayley teamed up with Lyra Valkyria to start against Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. They are known as Pure Fusion Collective. Also, Valkyria pinned Baszler to eliminate her team.

Next, Natalya and Maxxine Dupri entered the match. Bayley pinned Dupri to eliminate them, too. Moreover, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter faced Bayley and Valkyria. Thus, Valkyria pinned Chance to eliminate them as well.  

The next team was Michin and B-Fab. Finally, Bayley managed to pin B-Fab. She eliminated both of them. Also, Piper Niven and Alba Fyre from The Green Regime made an entry. Valkyria pinned Fyre after executing a powerbomb and a flying elbow. Moreover, Bayley and Valkyria won the gauntlet match and will challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. This will be at WrestleMania 41.

Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest

Next, Drew McIntyre attacked Damien Priest. McIntyre cut a promo in the ring. He promised to give Priest a beating. However, the player had earlier gotten glass in his eye. He fought back and attacked security before they battled again. Moreover, McIntyre hit Priest with a Future Shock DDT on the steel steps. This escalated their feud as WrestleMania approached.

Ray Fenix vs. Berto 

Ray Fenix faced Berto in a singles match. After the match, Santos Escobar came to the ring. He urged Berto to shake Fenix’s hand. However, Berto refused. Escobar shook Fenix’s hand to end the segment on a positive note.

Naomi vs. Jade Cargill

Naomi appeared in a pre-recorded promo. She attacked Jade Cargill and blamed her for her issues with Bianca Belair. However, Cargill responded in another promo. She called Naomi a fading star trying to stay relevant.

Cody Rhodes’ Championship Promo

Cody Rhodes entered the ring. He showed six previous versions of the WWE Championship to the audiences. Also, he proclaimed that the title signifies being the best wrestler. Rhodes criticized John Cena. He mentioned that Cena wanted to retire with it. Rhodes insisted that fans would always support someone new.

Upcoming Matches

Next week’s SmackDown will include the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. A six-woman tag match is also scheduled. The teams are Zelina Vega, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter against The Green Regime and the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits. They were confronted by The Miz and Carmelo Hayes. They claimed they would revitalize the tag team division.
