Masters of The Air marked its first digital entry on 26th January 2024 with the first two episodes, there were a total of 9 episodes and the remaining episodes came in February as well as in March respectively. Production was made by Apple studios and was one of the most expensive productions with a budget of almost $250 million.
With the star cast, Austin Butler, Callum Turner, and Barry Keoghan, expectations from the series were very high as it showcased the sacrifices made at the time of the Second World War by the 100th Bomb squad. The first season was marked in Apple’s top 10 list, as season 1 has gotten so much popularity, the day is not too far when we will get the news of the release date of season 2.

Masters of The Air Season 1
Season 1 of Master of the Air is the story of the 8th US Air Force who were called in 1943 to Fight against Nazi Germany at Thorpe Abbots Royal Air Field. The entire action scene takes place in the air, where the 100th Bomb Squad with very inferior fighting jets makes their entry into enemy territory for a dangerous mission. The story is mainly focused on two main characters, Majors Gale Eleven and John Egan, the two best friends. There were several other characters also who were not in that much limelight. This series takes us on an air journey, where we witness the unity and strength of 100 bomb squads and the sacrifices made by these Americans for their country. On their way, they also face a lot of personal challenges, and it is quite interesting to see how they grow in spite of all these personal challenges.
Has work on Masters of the Air season 2 started?
Generally after season 1, streaming platforms start to advertise the second season 2 including the number of people who watch season 1 and the popularity it gets to grow excitement in the audience’s mind for season 2. Season 1 of Master of the Year is still ruling the heart of the audience and people are still watching it with the same excitement. There are certain rumors about season 2 but we haven’t gotten any official announcement or news about season 2 from the Apple studios till now according to the immense popularity season 1 has, it can be clearly seen that we will surely get the news for the sequel very soon.

Masters of the Air season 2
Without the official announcement, nothing can be said about Season 2 very confidently as everyone’s eyes are on Apple Studios for any news related to Master of the Air Season 2. We are expecting the same cast with a new story, however, to maintain the theme it must be based on war as the title goes. Gary Goetzman, the executive producer of this Air series, has confirmed that season 2 is simply possible but it wouldn’t be him producing the show.
