Saturday May 2, Rev. Al Sharpton, President, National Action Network; Gwen Carr, Mother of Eric Garner; and, Esaw Garner, Widow of Eric Garner, to appear at National Action Network, 106 West 145th Street (Lenox Avenue), Harlem, New York.

9:45 a.m. Rev. Al Sharpton to address the rally with Gwen Carr and Esaw Garner. The rally will be live streamed at www.nationalactionnetwork.net & broadcast live on WLIB 1190AM.

Rev. Al Sharpton spent two days in Baltimore this week with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and local Baltimore leaders, which included a summit with top national civil rights leaders.

At tomorrow’s ‘Saturday action rally’ Rev. Sharpton will support the state prosecutor who charged the six police officers in Baltimore but question the fact that there has been no charges in the Eric Garner case in Staten Island, New York.

Mr. Garner was also filmed while he was placed under a police chokehold and New York City police labeled his death a homicide. Rev. Sharpton and the Garner family will escalate their drive for justice for Eric Garner at tomorrow’s rally.
