Multi-talented musician, singer, songwriter, producer and audio engineer Jallanzo takes us to school in the art of making Jamaican dub music with the release of his mixtape album entitled “Dubbin’ It & Luvin It” including a live released visual for the song “The Voice Of The Dub.”
Having performed and recorded for many years as a session musician, vocalist, and a member of the Dubtonic Kru band, Jallanzo now extends his talents to include dub recordings and live dub performances. On Friday, July 23, his live dub video “The Voice Of The Dub” from the “Dubbin’ It & Luvin’ It” album premiered on Majesty Media’s YouTube channel. Jallanzo’s exquisite recording talent will place this album in the collector’s category. The album will be released on Friday August 13, 2021 on Jallanzo’s DUB MATRIXX label.
“Dubbin’ It & Luvin’ It” has eight original recordings performed and produced by Jallanzo, with a bonus ninth track available digitally. It features vocals by Jallanzo and his queen Damia, with Stefanosis on melodica on the track “Dub Chakra”. Vinyl copies of the album will be available in the near future.
The album release will be supported by a release party billed “DUBSHIP”, at the Armory Lounge in Ashland, Oregon on Saturday August 14. The “DUBSHIP” event features Jallanzo performing with guests Neil Mangicaro and Bambu King.
