A press conference to condemn the grand jury decision not to indict the Newton police officer that shot and killed Maj Gulia Dale III and to announce further action will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023, 11:00am, outside of the Federal Building, 970 Broad Street in Newark, New Jersey.

The press conference is being called by members of the family of Maj Gulia Dale III and the People’s Organization For Progress.

The press conference is being held at the Rodino Federal Building where the office of the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey is located.

The People’s Organization For Progress will call upon U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger to launch a civil rights investigation into the death of Mr. Dorsey.

“The decision by the grand jury in the case of Maj Gulia Dale III was a grave injustice. We believe Mr Dale’s civil rights were violated and call upon the U.S. Attorney to launch an investigation,” stated Lawrence Hamm, Chairman, People’s Organization For Progress.
