YONKERS, NY – This week, Congressman Bowman has been out in the district, speaking with residents of NY-16 and racking up more endorsements. As we enter the primary campaign’s final full week, it’s clear that the Bowmentum is strong.
Endorsements
This week, Congressman Jamaal Bowman has received a slew of endorsements from leaders across New York’s 16th Congressional District. This outpouring of support is a testament to the work the congressman has done for the district so far and a show of confidence from local leaders in his ability to continue fighting for and getting results for the people of NY-16.
Congressman Bowman earned endorsements from the Yonkers Council President Lakisha Collins-Bellamy and Council Member Shanae V. Williams.
Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson also endorsed Congressman Bowman’s Campaign. Of the congressman she said, “When Congressman Bowman sees a problem — he fixes it… That’s the kind of leadership the Bronx needs in Washington and I’m proud to support his re-election campaign.”
Congressman Bowman also secured the endorsement of the Hispanic Democrats of Westchester and Community Voices Heard Power!
Out In NY-16
Congressman Bowman spent much of his week meeting constituents, talking about what he’s delivered for the district, and hearing from voters about the issues they most care about.
He also hosted a back-to-school barbeque for students in Mount Vernon and joined in on a game of volleyball! The congressman was happy to report on Twitter that he’s still got hops!
New Mailers Dropped The new Bowman mailers started hitting houses across the country this week, spreading his message of justice, equality and joy.
