Trump’s name was reported in the Epstein Files, which are said to be documented by a criminal and Trump’s former friend, Jeffrey Epstein. It was first published in the Wall Street Journal, which brought this case to the attention of the public. Moreover, after its revelation, people started to notice the changes in the behaviour of their President and his defensive administration. Additionally, the demand of the public for transparency of the case is ignored, deflected, distracted, and denied continuously.
According to the Attorney General, Trump cannot be declared guilty based on some non-evidential files. However, the strategy he and Trump’s administration have adopted is not working in their favor. The official statements passed by the administration and Trump often clash with their past claims. Moreover, they are trying hard to maintain their image and posture in public, which is paving the way for suspicion.
Changes in Trump’s Administration after his name appeared in the Epstein Files
According to the present information, Trump was summoned by the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General for a case. This happened in May, when AG Pam Bondi and Deputy AG Todd Blanche briefed Trump about the Epstein case. After all the investigation through the files, they found that Trump’s name appeared on its pages several times. This meeting and discussion were kept confidential for that time, but there was something that changed. Trump’s behaviour and tone have been impacted after the Epstein case revelation, which was caught by the media. From that time, his behavior, along with the administration, has been defensive, and they seem to hold many secrets beneath their composure.

Dismissive strategy by Trump and the administration
In an interview in June, Trump claimed that there was some stuff found in Epstein’s files and that the government files on it may have some disturbing matter. However, people find it strange because Trump never passes a ‘but’ warning when he addresses some conspiracies. His nature is more narrative when he aims to convey something to the public.
However, in July, a shift was experienced once again by the public when the administration turned dismissive of the case. Out of nowhere, the Department of Justice claimed that the ‘client list’ never existed and that Epstein’s death was due to suicide. Moreover, two of the officials from Trump’s administration came up to support the DOJ and attempted to dismiss the case.
Afterwards, Attorney General Pam Bondi’s earlier claims on the presence of the ‘Client List’ raised controversy on the matter. Additionally, she released a binder named “The Epstein Files: Phase 1” at an event at the White House. This drained the last drop of tolerance in the public for the White House, as they were not disclosing matters of public interest.
Trump loses his cool on the Epstein Case!
The public pressured Trump and the administration to reveal the truth and the files on the Epstein case. However, instead of doing that, Trump bashed the media outlets for covering false information on the case. Afterwards, he claimed that he never had a conversation about the case with Attorney General Pam Bondi. Here, his claims with his past claim on the awareness of the stuff on Epstein clashed. On July 16, he claimed that this entire case is a spiral arranged for him by the Democrats. The next day itself, Trump sued the Wall Street Journal on charges of defamation with a lawsuit of $20 billion.
According to the lawyers, the case of defamation against the Wall Street Journal is very weak from Trump’s side. Apart from that, Trump has been forcing the court to release the jury’s documents on the Epstein case, which violates the jury’s non-disclosure rule. This request will not reveal much information about his political involvement, and it will also showcase his cooperativeness. Moreover, Trump has started to use his political tactics to push his name to other contenders, such as Obama. He called out the Department of Justice to shift the blame to Obama for an unrelated sentence said in 2016.

Conclusion
According to the available information, there is no proof that justifies any connection between Trump with the Epstein case. However, things are slipping from Trump’s hands, as his public posture and behavior are raising suspicion in the picture. His continuous attempts to close the case or shift the blame and statements don’t look good for his image. Moreover, the recent attempt to destroy any information from the jury evidence has caused mistrust in the public. Trump and his administration are failing in managing this situation, which will, either way, ruin his political reputation. Now, for the public, the truth only lies in the documents, which Trump is trying to destroy behind the doors.
