Whilst at 45 years old, one would be starting to enjoy or dream of life fulfillment; yet, my young brother, Peter Bulago’s life journey was ending, in Sweden where he lived.
He only achieved a few out of his many dreams. He dreams of being a father, which Peter achieved with two beautiful children, 12-year-old Tysoe Wei Bulago and seven-year-old Aleah Lin Bulago.
Everybody, that ever came across this beautiful soul, all cherished him. Peter was been five years younger than me; he was regular man that kept me in laughter.
Peter’s unpredictable journey left a huge space both in our family and his 24-year-work place. Peter RIP.
Evidence suggest that, there wasn’t any single Monday after Formula 1, when Peter’s boss did not get worried of Peter’s banter. Peter’s boss, Jalle Jungnell, also doubles as the founder of Panther AB company responsible for the manufacturing disabled people’s wheel-chairs.
Every Monday, particularly when Lewis Hamilton had had a pole position, Mr. Jungnell, would get worried, not to get hurt, but taking on Peter in battle of banter. The fight wouldn’t stop banter, but also stretches to laughters.
According to Peter’s boss, whilst at a motor race, Peter went straight to the Swedish Royal family and requested selfie, but in English. The member of the Swedish Royal family asked Peter why he was not making the request in Swedish?Without hesitation, Peter replied: “I deliberately used English because I want you to be famous and International.”
I wasn’t surprised when I heard the story. We had a comedian in our family. Peter’s dream was to make everyone smile; many can testify to this.
Says a work colleague: “He was always there for us co-workers and our customers. No talking. Peter fixes it. The emptiness and loss of our buddy, is a unity moment. Our thoughts to the kids and Peggy, the children and the rest of the family.”
It’s hard to either comprehend or digest due to the sudden and untimely death of my young brother Peter Bulago (RIP). It’s so hard for the family and my mum in particular. Let us keep the fire burning and ensure that Haj loves it that way.
Whilst eulogizing Peter, the former deputy Buganda Prime Minister, Owen Haj Muhmood Sekimpi, who led the delegation from Uganda, said: “Peter had all attributes of making everyone comfortable. Remembering Peter, we must recognize his thoughtfulness and willingness to offer support, physically, spiritually and financially…”
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap. It’s only natural to feel emotional when celebrating the life of Peter. Peter’s words have been the nurturing of peace and contributing with the help to the needy…”
Rest In Peace Peter.
