Following the success of their latest single “Badness” by Badda General, which has recently  surpassed the 2 million streams across all platforms, Ride Di Vibes is back in 2024 with the  release of the “Basik Riddim.” This Dancehall instrumental, rooted in the purest Jamaican  tradition, brings together the talents of seven renowned artists.

Deeply influenced by the authentic rhythms of the 90s that contributed to the global acclaim of this  musical genre, Ride Di Vibes reconnects with the roots of Dancehall through a rhythm that is both  danceable and catchy. The “Basik Riddim” boldly breaks away from contemporary trends that blend  trap and Dancehall, providing a pure and nostalgic sonic experience.

Tiwony is the first to unleash his powerful & energetic flow on this instrumental about the genesis of the project! With a good energy, sharp lyrics and a catchy chorus, this is the return of classic Dancehall, simple and basik!

Ride Di Vibes invites music enthusiasts to dive into this new sonic adventure and rediscover the  authenticity of Jamaican Dancehall with the “Basik Riddim.”

For almost 20 years, Ride Di Vibes has been representing Jamaican culture in France through different activities: parties, productions and mix-tapes. They are now a reference for all Sound System fans.

Founded in 2004, Ride Di Vibes are first and foremost unconditional fans of Dancehall. Organizers of many of the Parisian scene’s must-attend parties, such as Up Like Friday, or the 21 Rhum Salute held every Wednesday at Twenty One Sound Bar, they are also programmed at many other parties and festivals for their unique way of mixing in France. This has led them to travel the world, sharing the stage or working with international artists such as Konshens, Cham, Spice, Charly Black, Shenseea and Ding Dong.
