The fourth edition the The Cleaning Lady franchise was definitely one of the most grim and blood-soaked seasons that finally came to an end. Another one of Thony’s adventures has ended, and the season finale wrapped up pretty much everything. However, it also leaves one thinking of the future consequences of her actions in case the franchise is renewed for another season. If you are someone who wants to know more about the ending of The Cleaning Lady Season 4, the following article is for you. It brings you a detailed explanation of all the things that happened in the season finale and what it may mean for the future.
Has Ramona Really Met Her End?
The Cleaning Lady Season 4 circles around Jorge’s inability to bring Heller down and how it ultimately resulted in Sin Cara associates ending up killing their own cartel members. The associates also stoop low enough to kill children, ignoring the fact that cartel associates’ family members are off-limits at times of war.
On analyzing the season finale, it seems like this was simply foreshadowing as Thony did what she did all for her son Luca. Ramona plans to kidnap Luca and raise him as her own while she buries his mother, Thony, alive. However, the plan fails when Fiona arrives on time and strikes her head. She survived the strike, but Thony decided to bury her alive instead. There are chances this might not prove as Ramona’s end as Alejandra is still free and probably helped Ramona plan Thony’s death. If that’s the case, she would definitely know where Ramona is buried, and her survival seems pretty likely.

What Is Jorge’s Plan For The Future?
As we reach the conclusion of the fourth season, it is finally revealed that Feng was the one who was ordering the killings of the San Cara’s cartel members. All the previous episodes this season focused on showcasing Feng’s strengthening position in San Cara and how his love for Jialong makes him vulnerable to manipulation. Therefore, this came as a shock to both the audience and Jorge. It now seems to Jorge that Koh, Feng’s supposed boss, was never real, and he was fielding orders from Sam Heller.
The season finale also shows Feng staging a hit on Jorge for reasons beyond understanding at the exact same airfield where he was supposed to save his children. After surviving the hit, Jorge then bribes the pilot, who then takes Jorge overseas so that he can form new alliances. His plans and his location both remain a mystery, yet we might come across him again in the future.
How Did Thony Turn Into A Sin Cara Associate In The Season Finale?
Jorge, before leaving, actually gave all the evidence he could gather to bring Heller down while he was in the process of killing the DA. In the season finale, we see Joel Herman take over as the ADA while Thony delivers the book to Feng and becomes a Sin Cara associate in return. However, Herman is unaware of Thony’s place in taking over the entire cartel for herself. This wasn’t a groundbreaking twist in the story and was pretty predictable. Thony also demands immunity from all past crimes against working for the DA office, which she gets. It is clear that in case Thony manages to head the cartel, she can easily destroy it from within and then make her ultimate grand escape.
Is Thony’s Plan Of Taking Over The Cartel Really Foolproof?
In the season finale, we see Thony accepting that she’s agreeing to help Joel bring down San Cara, but she’s only going to weaken it to rise in power herself. However, the cartel takeover does not really guarantee her a normal life. She might end up compromising her immunity deal with Joel. But Joel’s speech while taking over the DA office highlights how he will do what’s right and not what’s lawful. Another problem in Thony’s way is that bringing down San Cara clearly depends on her ability to bring down Heller. Joel has been trying to do so for ages without any success, and she doesn’t even have any idea about what Heller stole from Joel’s safe. In case the franchise is renewed, Thony’s plan definitely does not seem foolproof.

What To Expect From The Next Season If It Happens?
The production has not yet renewed the franchise for another season. However, in case it does, The Cleaning Lady Season 4 ending indicates there’s still so much to unfold in the next season. The next season may explore angles like Fiona’s children being in potential danger because of Ramona. Season 5 may also revisit the last conversation between Dupont and Thony, which clearly indicated he has a past of his own. If the franchise is renewed, it might actually be the final season with Thony going into war with Sin Cara.
