UNOWAS REPRESENTATIVE CONDEMNS SATURDAY TERRORIST ATTACK IN BURKINA FASO

Saturday’s terrorist acts follow two attacks which occured on Christmas and Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, 35 civilians and seven soldiers were killed in the village of Arbinda, in the northeast Soum territory along the border with Mali. This was followed by an attack on Christmas which killed eleven soldiers.
