What we should lament is our continued dependence on the importation of substandard meat and poultry from extra-regional sources that cost our governments millions of US dollars…Increasing intra-OECS trade is not a one-sided matter. We are building partnerships so that Member States can focus on areas of comparative advantage to build a dynamic, sustainable internal market of healthy organic food.”

Under the Revised Treaty of Basseterre, citizens of all Protocol Member States in the OECS Economic Union are free to move, live and work throughout Member States.

Saïdou Bernabé and Yoane Pavadé founders of Parallel 14 “Our professional backgrounds have led us to work in Paris, London and New Zealand on film production teams such as “MOI, MOCHE ET MECHANT”, “BATMAN, THE DARK KNIGHT” and “THE HOBBIT” by Peter JACKSON. We wanted to share this knowledge, these technical skills and this experience with the next generation. Thus was born the school PARALLEL 14 in 2013.”

VINCENTIAN DESIGNER KIMYA GLASGOW HOSTS MARTINIQUE FASHION SHOW ON EVE OF PARIS FASHION WEEK

Kimya Glasgow holds an Associate Degree in Fashion Design from the Barbados Community College and has been mentored by several of the Caribbean’s most influential designers, including Trinidadian fashion maven Claudia Pegus, with whom she apprenticed. She has been shown in Miami Fashion Week, Caribbean Fashion Week in Jamaica, Fashion Week Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados Fashion Week, St. Kitts Fashion Weekend and repeatedly in Fashion Caribbean – St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ premier Fashion show. She is a 2009 Caribbean Fashion Awards winner.
