NEW YORK STATE SENATOR MYRIE CALLS ON GOVERNOR CUOMO TO IMMEDIATELY RELEASE CENSUS FUNDING

[New York News\2020 Census]
Senator Zellnor Y. Myrie: “As we and 33 other elected officials warned in our September letter to the Governor, a potential undercount poses a grave risk to the rights, livelihood and wellbeing of millions of people in Brooklyn and across the state. Yet we have seen no sign of the release of this money, no timeline, and no plan. This is unacceptable. The census gets closer every day and the time to act is now.”

NEW YORK POLITICIANS AND ADVOCACY GROUPS: ACCURATE 2020 CENSUS COUNT CRITICAL IN BRINGING FEDERAL FUNDING TO NEW YORK

[Census 2020]
The census determines how more than $650 billion in federal funds for public education, public housing, roads and bridges, and more, are distributed annually throughout the country, as well as the number of seats each state is allocated in the House of Representatives (and thus, the Electoral College). Another undercount (like in 2010) could cost the State of New York up to two congressional seats, emphasizing the importance of a complete and accurate count of New York City.

MISSOURI CONGRESSMAN CLAY: REPUBLICANS AUTHORIZED “IMITATION CENSUS” FORMS IN FUNDRAISING SCHEME TO RE-ELECT TRUMP

[2020 Census\Republican Fraud]
Missouri Congressman Clay: “First, the Trump Administration tried to rig the 2020 Census with a racist citizenship question to intentionally increase the undercount of non-white persons. And now, they send an “imitation census” mailing to confuse Americans while trying to raise money for the President’s reelection. With every action, this president and his enablers show their complete contempt for the truth, the rule of law and the Constitution.”
