S.W.A.T. Season 8 ending has abruptly ended without giving much of a closure to the story. The story ends but does not clarify many of the actions and past stories that led the characters where they are today. The 20-squad had two cases to solve in the two episodes of one hour each. For every case, the characters had to put their life on line as they demanded sacrifice.
The decisions have to be taken by the 20-squad members, which will directly impact their careers and finances. In addition, the makers need to find a way to add the closure element in the series, as at the end of season 8, a lot of stories are still unsaid.
Gamble: A Good Sister or A Good Cop?
Gamble was found stuck in episode 21 of Season 8 of S.W.A.T. as she had a choice between her professional career and her brother. Her brother stole a luxury car from Hondo’s car garages. Her brother, on the other hand, told her that he did not know Hondo’s missing car earlier that day. She felt betrayed and thought of handing her brother over to the cops. But she couldn’t do it. Mostly because he was his brother, and she could not let him suffer when she was living her life in the open. So, she decided to transfer somewhere else where nobody knew her personally. However, Hondo refused her idea of transferring as he wanted her on his side.

The Main Target of S.W.A.T. in Season 8
In episode 22, a group of Russian mobsters planted explosives around the whole city of Los Angeles as their partner was under arrest in the city. So, they decided to put the whole city on fire. But that was not it. They just didn’t want to release Dmitri Rykov, they wanted to trade him for a US prisoner who is in Russia’s hands. Rykov was brought to the headquarters, and the attention of the Russian mobster group was diverted there. They began attacking the building but were blocked by a 20-squad. Gamble was also a part of the 20-squad there. Luckily, she we there to pick up some of her leftovers and got in form with this new issue. The mobsters were mostly killed or injured, but the people inside the building were safe from the fight.
Deacon’s Gift to the 20-Squad
Deacon was found donating $50,000 to a charity to help needy children and people. The squad wanted Deacon not to spend the money he had saved on them but on himself. But he isn’t the guy to listen to anyone anyway. So, he bought 20 Rolex watches for every member of 2the 0-squad with a print saying “20-Squad Stay Liquid.” It was a token of love from Deacon to the whole squad. Heather was planning a move against him at the same time. She started talking to his children to learn about the information regarding their family. When she got the chance to sneak into the house, she started finding some information. But Deacon saw it coming; he was working to get restraining orders for Heather and could have timely arrested her along with Hondo’s assistance.
