After the presale release of the movie, the box office collection has dimmed slightly in the figures. The latest figures for Superman 2025 box office projections have been slightly lower than what was originally anticipated. As per sources, these new projections have come up through Box Office Theory, which is a newsletter founded by the Director of Analytics of Movies at Fandango. According to this report, a small portion of the sales is not included in the box office collection as Amazon Prime has given early access to the audience for Superman 2025. This has allowed the audience to buy presale tickets for the early movie screening on 8 July 2025, contributing to a lower box office collection at the opening of the film.
This is the second time this event has occurred when Amazon Prime has given early access to any movie. The same incident happened when Wicked was released last year which affected the box-office collection like Superman’s has now. According to Fandango, the average sales of tickets on 8 July would earn around $22 million which most probably would have added to the 11 July collection if presales were not initiated. However, Fandango has revealed that these sales have been the best first-day ticket pre-sales they have witnessed till now.
Superman 2025 Box Office Goal
Superman 2025 till now has the highest anticipated box-office sales as compared to many other movies which are going to be released later on. However, no one can be sure about what the future holds. For example, Fantastic Beasts Four: The First Steps is just below the rank of Superman and has the potential to surpass it.
