New York Comptroller Scott Stringer is calling for the resignation of Governor Andrew Cuomo following more allegations of sexual harassment by Charlotte Bennett, a executive assistant and health policy adviser in the Cuomo administration who left in November.

The allegation follows a similar complaint from Lindsey Boylan, a former state economic development official.

Stringer released the following statement:

“We must have zero tolerance for sexual harassment, and we must end the pervasive culture of abuse in positions of power. The behavior that Ms. Boylan and Ms. Bennett have described is disgusting and absolutely unacceptable, and I commend their tremendous courage in coming forward. I continue to support a thorough and truly independent investigation of the Governor’s conduct, and if it supports these serious and credible allegations, Governor Cuomo must resign.”
