Reverend Al Sharpton, President and founder of the National Action Network and Michael Steele are participating in a breakfast that will bring together 30 strategic voices for a meaningful discussion on “Reversing the Economic Erosion of Home Ownership in Black Communities.” Steele is former Lt. Governor and Former Chairman of The Republican National Committee.

Mr. Sharpton and Mr. Steele are also expected to address the recent racist attacks that have been made against Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings and the city of Baltimore.

Joining them will be former State Senator and Radio Host Larry Young, and Joe Kennedy, Founder of Kennedy Research will provide insights on advancing the housing agenda in communities of color. Invited participants include: The leadership of National Action Network, Baltimore NAACP, Kemp Foundation, Fredrick Douglas Group, Business leaders, Baltimore Black-owned Brokers, Baltimore Association of Realtors, Greater Baltimore Urban League, HUD, State and Local legislators, and other key stakeholders.
