ST. LOUIS, MO — Today, Senator Bernie Sanders announced his endorsement of Congresswoman Cori Bush in her campaign for Missouri’s 1st Congressional District, as reported this morning by Semafor.
“I am honored to be endorsed by Senator Bernie Sanders, a true leader in our movement to guarantee healthcare, housing, and childcare for all,” said Congresswoman Cori Bush. “When we were both in office, Bernie and I worked together to lead the fight against the for-profit healthcare system, the fossil fuel industry, and the billionaires rigging our economy against everyday people. We worked together to lower costs for families by fighting for the Prescription Drug Price Relief Act, the Insulin for All Act, the Energy Security and Independence Act of 2022, and more. I am incredibly proud to be endorsed by him again as I run to go back to DC and continue my work to introduce and advance bold, progressive legislation to build, protect, and transform St. Louis.”
