National President of Black Lawyers for Justice (BLF) Attorney Malik Z. Shabazz will conduct a Town Hall meeting and legal investigation into police profiling in Harris and Walker counties at the True Level Masonic Lodge, 4212 Lyons Avenue – Houston, Texas.

Subsequent to the murder of Sandra Bland, BLFJ has been requested to investigate claims of police profiling against Blacks in Houston. Residents and students of both Harris County and Waller County have expressed an overwhelming surge of complaints against police profiling and similar unjust treatment as in the Sandra Bland case.

The Town Hall meeting is being organized for residents, students of local higher education institutions as well as any person who may have been subjected to unconstitutional racial profiling and/or subjected to any unfair treatment by county law enforcement agencies; and to pursue an investigation and possible litigation of Constitutional and Human Rights violations allegations.

Attorney Shabazz will be joined by Hassane Muhammad – J.D. of Black Lawyers for Justice, Minister Robert Muhammad – Nation of Islam Southwest Regional Representative, Ronald Bob of Global Entertainment, and students from Prairie View University A&M University as well as other local residents and national activists.
