Official Launch Details

Fortnite Festival Season 8 will officially launch on April 8. The exact global launch time has not been shared yet. However, updates often happen around 6 a.m. EDT. Also, this timing usually follows a period of server downtime. The announcement comes right after the previous season. It included Hatsune Miku. Moreover, it ensured a smooth transition into the new musical content.

Teaser Hints at Collaboration

Fortnite revealed this collaboration through a teaser video on the Fortnite Festival’s X platform. Also, the video included a striking blue background with a simple message. The message was “See you soon! xx”. Moreover, the message was topped with a lipstick mark. The message connects directly to Carpenter’s latest album, “Short n’ Sweet”, hinting at her presence.

Exclusive In-Game Content

Sabrina’s presence in Fortnite will create an exciting atmosphere. Also, players can look forward to vibrant and engaging content in the game. At least two unique skins, including Sabrina Carpenter, will be available for players to customize their avatars.

One skin will be part of the Fortnite Festival Season 8 Music Pass. This typically costs around 1400 V-Bucks. The other skin will likely be sold in a separate bundle at the Fortnite Item Shop. Along with these skins, themed cosmetics will accompany her debut. Thus, players can expect items such as –

  1. A bedazzled microphone pickaxe
  2. A guitar back bling with a lipstick kiss
  3. Various themed emotes
  4. A red heart-shaped microphone with glitter
  5. Possible guitars and a keytar
  6. A ‘kiss spray’ cosmetic
  7. Loading screens
  8. Special in-game events with exclusive rewards

Music Tracks Revealed

Fans of Sabrina Carpenter can expect to enjoy some of her popular songs as playable jam tracks at the Fortnite Festival. These tracks allow players to engage with her music while playing the game. Some of the confirmed songs include “Please Please Please” and “Espresso”. Earlier songs such as “Feather” and “Nonsense” may also be included again. 

Moreover, a new leaked track called “Taste” could be available.

On April 7, Epic Games confirmed details about Carpenter’s participation in Fortnite Festival Season 8. Also, according to the Fortnite website, players can unlock her tracks “Juno” and “Nonsense” in the Season 8 Music Pass. More of her songs will be found in the Shop as well.

Special Rewards and Skins

One of the premium rewards for those who purchase the Music Pass is the chance to unlock Sabrina Carpenter’s Outfit. This outfit includes a yellow embellished babydoll dress that she wore on her recent tour.  Also, a famous designer, Victoria’s Secret, collaborated with celebrity stylist Jared Ellner to create this outfit.

Along with this, jewelry designed by Maison Raksha will accompany the outfit. Thus, players also get access to lipstick and sparkly guitar-themed accessories. This is while “Nonsense” and “Juno” will be available as jam tracks for in-game use.

Dancing and Social Events

In true Fortnite style, players can also expect dancing. Thus, the Grammy-winning artist has been confirmed as the headliner for this show. After purchasing the Music Pass, players will receive her primary Sabrina outfit. This is along with a LEGO version for the Lego Fortnite mode. As the players progress in the game, they can earn XP and move up to the battle pass. This progression will allow them to unlock new guitars and a different version of Sabrina’s main outfit. Also, a new outfit called “Tour-Ready” will be available at the Fortnite shop.
