Roots Reggae and Dub star Alborosie is set to release his newest single “Faith.” The single, featuring rising star Jaz Elise, is from his 9th studio album entitled Destiny. The track speaks to the importance of individual faith in times of difficulty and success.
Produced by Alborosie, the soulful bass-driven track equips listeners with words of awareness when navigating trials in life. Making the distinction that faith is not religion, Jaz Elise emphasizes that faith can ‘lock every street and bruk down every gate.’
“Faith” is available in three mixes; album, extended and dub with the latter mixes available on streaming platforms on Thursday March 28th.
In April, Alborosie will be on tour with F.Y.A.H.. Both acts will be in California, Texas, Florida, Louisiana and Arizona. See tour dates below!
About Destiny:
Destiny boasts an impressive list of collaborators with featured guest performances from Reggae luminaries Kabaka Pyramid, Buju Banton, Jaz Elise and Burro Banton to name but a few. Exploring themes of faith, life, love and the power of music, Albo presents a body of work that is relatable and humble, stating “I cannot make music that reflects the non-relevant. My Reggae should relate to the present….”
