Rep. Jeffries To Appear With Kyam Livingston Family, As They Announce Fed Lawsuit Against City

Three months after Kyam Livingston died in Police custody in a filthy jail cail crying in pain from an ailment and ignored by officers, the family is announcing a lawsuit.

On Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:30 PM in front of the United States Federal Court, Eastern District of New York, 225 Cadman Plaza East, family, attorneys, supporters, elected officials and community leaders will gather to announce the filing of the federal lawsuit and to demand the names of the officers involved, and the video of the filthy jail cell where the 37-year-old woman died after being denied medical attention for seven hours.
