YONKERS, NY – This Sunday, Congressman Jamaal Bowman (NY-16) will be joined by CBS News Political Contributor and Democratic Strategist, Antjuan Seawright (shown below) for “Black Men: Our Vote, Our Voice, Our Issues”, an engaging and collaborative conversation on the crisis that affects Black men today.
During the conversation, Bowman and Seawright will talk about everything from the kitchen table issues that affect Black men today to how Black men can use their collective power to effect change. During the event, the audience — which will include advocates, community organizers, and local Yonkers residents — will have an opportunity to be a part of the conversation by plugging in their own thoughts and asking questions directly to Bowman and Seawright.
Following the conversation, Bowman and Seawright will hold a press conference outside of the venue and share key takeaways with the press. Both Bowman and Seawright will also be taking questions from press. Please note, to respect the privacy of those in attendance press will not be allowed inside the venue.
