McCabe orders a search of everyone’s room. This is because of the power outage. They find Annette. This is the French maid. She is also an ATF informant. Moreover, they find a cell phone. She used it to text AFT agents. However, they miss Duffy’s DEA badge. Reacher hid it in his pillowcase.
ATF Informant’s Death
They kill Annette right away. Then, Reacher has to get rid of her body. He is clearly sad about the incident. Also, Reacher and Duffy realize Beck and McCabe are running guns. The ATF has been watching them for some time.
This makes viewers wonder if anyone else is undercover in McCabe’s operation. That would be an interesting plot twist. Moreover, Reacher and Duffy now know what they are facing. They show the viewers what is about to happen next.
