Looking for a little help with today’s Quordle? Whether you’re stuck on one word or need a full rescue, I’ve got hints—and the answers—ready below.
How To Play Quordle
If you’re new here, here’s a quick rundown on how Quordle works:
You’re trying to guess four five-letter words simultaneously, with only nine attempts to get them all right. That’s right—four grids, one keyboard, one set of guesses. Each time you enter a word, all four grids update with color-coded clues:
- Green = Correct letter in the correct position
- Yellow = Correct letter, wrong spot
- Gray = Letter isn’t in that word at all
It’s like Wordle but turned up to 11. If you’re just jumping in for the first time, you might want to practice a few rounds before taking on the daily puzzle.
Today’s Quordle Hints
Let’s ease into today’s puzzle with a few clues—one for each word. If you don’t want the answers yet, these will help nudge you in the right direction:
- Word 1 (top left): Think of a formal or old-fashioned word for “said.”
- Word 2 (top right): It’s something an elephant is famous for.
- Word 3 (bottom left): A verb meaning to surround or trouble persistently.
- Word 4 (bottom right): A personality trait describing someone easily fooled or too trusting.
Bonus hints:
- One of these words includes a repeated letter.
- The starting letters are Q, T, B, and N, in order.
Still Stuck? Here’s A Closer Look
Let’s break down the hints even further:
Word 1 starts with Q and is often associated with classic literature or poetry—think Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven.”
Word 2 begins with T and is a body part… but only for some animals.
Word 3 begins with B and is often used when talking about overwhelming situations or enemies closing in.
Word 4 begins with N, and it’s a character trait you may not want to have too much of in the real world.
