Ryan Mack is no unsung hero. From the Wall Street boardroom to the hills of South Africa, they are singing the praises of finance phenomenon, Ryan C. Mack for his unwavering mission to educate the masses in the critical art of financial planning.
Ryan left a cushy job on Wall Street to dedicate his life to the empowerment of underserved communities through educating the financially illiterate with the crucial life skills they need to thrive and prosper in today’s warp speed rollercoaster economy. Mack’s youth program, All About Business (AAB), teaches inner-city youth financial skills, then takes it a step further, showing the youths how to go out and share what they have learned with the community-at-large.
From housing projects, unions, churches, municipal programs, and non-profit organizations to international communities, colleges and universities — anywhere he can share his message of financial empowerment through education, you can find Ryan Mack — preaching the gospel of finance. Through Optimum Capital Management, Ryan develops financial classes and workshops geared toward youth and underserved communities.
Ryan has been profiled in Tavis Smiley’s book, Covenant and Action, he has been featured in Black Enterprise Magazine, and he received Tom Joyner’s “Hardest Working Financial Advisor Award” because of his efforts.
Most recently, Ryan appeared on CNN’s “Your World Today,” sharing financial advice with viewers.
In summer of 2007, Ryan visited South Africa on a quest to create tangible economic solutions to help impoverished communities around the world.
“On this trip I saw beautiful mountains, sprawling fields, and a horizon that would take your breath away. But, nothing in South Africa can compare to the beauty, love and passion of the people. The success of this trip was a direct result of the benevolent efforts of Amstelhof Primary School Principal Mr. Claude De Jager and the rest of the De Jager family who put up with my endless ramblings of economic empowerment. Claude and his family made sure that I made the right connections for my purpose there in South Africa. Optimum is forever in their debt for providing our company with this opportunity. Economic empowerment is not a US issue, but a global need. As Optimum continues to grow and expand we will continue to reach out to ALL those who are in need. Our fight against financial illiteracy and poverty has just begun,” Mack declared. [See photos http://www.myspace.com/ryancmack ]
When asked how Ryan stays on top in his own business while doing so much charity work, Ryan shared with BSN, “There is a grave misconception that you cannot succeed in business if you give. The number one principle of success is benevolence. The more that you give, the more blessings you get. If you notice, the programs and workshops that I do are always focused on financial literacy. The more I teach financial literacy, the more I become grounded in the principles thereof. The more grounded I become in these principles, the greater my intellectual capital becomes. As a result, my clients and audiences benefit progressively. Basically, the more I give, the better I get, which results in a monetary metamorphosis for myself and many of those who put my system to use.”
