Pedophilia and Child-pregnancy Better than Contracting Covid19? Ask Ugandan Dictator Gen. Museveni

Pregnant children are better than children dead from Covid19? Dictator Museveni

In Uganda, a new crisis has emerged as a result of the lockdown from the Covid19 pandemic. Since schools have been closed, students, including many young girls are home. While they may have reduced their risk of contracting Covid19, they are now exposed to another predatory attack—rapists.

At least over 3,000 school girls have conceived and hundreds of others have been married off—including under age girls—since March this year when the lockdown decree was declared. These figures come from the district health, education, social welfare, and probation departments.

During the national prayer breakfast on October 8 at statehouse Entebbe, this is how the Ugandan dictator Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni, reacted to this crisis: “When children get pregnant, it is okay, at least they are still alive because pregnancy doesn’t kill. At least we have not had any child who has died from coronavirus.”

This is tantamount to Gen. Museveni giving carte blanche to pedophiles.

“This is by far the most reckless statement uttered by a person of the president,” Godwin Toko, a Ugandan lawyer said, on his Facebook account. “This is a direct defense of defilement of young school girls, which remains one of the worst things that can ever happen to any child.”

Schools have been closed in Uganda since March this year due to fear of the virus’ scourge at a high rate in congested schools. Only candidate classes and university or tertiary finalists have been allowed back to schools to complete their education.
