Pan-African Parliament Session Suspended

The Pan-African Parliament suspended its fourth ordinary session of the fifth parliamentary sitting on 1 June.

Secretary of the Pan-African Parliament (Pap), Vipya Harawa suspended proceedings following disagreements and disruptions among members. This was the first in-person sitting of the parliamentarians this year due to Covid-19 regulations.

There is no appointed date for the resumption of the parliament.
